The night light isn't very bright. I like the design. I don't think it's bright enough for changing diapers, but it's enough to see if the baby is sleeping.The color-changing mode can be turned off at night, and it will emit a soft white light that won't disturb sleep.It would be better if it had a multi-country adapter. You'll need a USB adapter. Only the US adapter is included.

So, I don't have a child.. but I do have an office that's ice cold. I'd finally had enough of it being so cold and them telling me "the temp is set to 70, there's nothing we can do or people will be too hot".. SOOOO here came THIS unit!(For the record, I'd searched for other indoor thermometers and saw good reviews but also some Not so good reviews, even for the expensive ones. Because I just wanted one that simply Tells the Temp (and humidity) I decided on this adorable little unit.)Once received, all you do is Plug it in and it works, immediately. You don't have to get it set to the area or room or anything of the like, it simply works. Which I loved about that. It also shows the temp.. and changes colors Immediately, once it gets to the "comfortable" range!Because of this unit, when I first get in, in the morning.. it's still icy... BUT.. my office has began to turn up the temps for the day so my Kelvin just keeps on rising and getting to the "comfortable" range! (As shown in photos.)So of course, this would be ADORABLE for a Baby/Childs room.. equally as adorable for a desktop thermometer in an office!Would definitely purchase again and is now going to be my new "gift" to give for all of my friends that are having babies!!

It’s smaller than I expected but it works great! We like to keep the room around a nice 74-75 and I’m glad it also tells us the humidity. I was so happy to have this in the room for my little one! We can’t wait to get the Mella clock to help sleep train our son in the near future. 🤗

I actually don’t think this can be considered a night light, I can’t see anything in the room when I use it.I’ll be keeping it because is a great way to check temperature and humidity but not for the night light feature.This is a photo comparing this one to the other night light I already had. Huge difference.Update: after posting my review the company contacted me right away to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. They explained that they didn’t want to make this night light too bright to not disturb the babies which is understandable. I’m giving them 5 stars because of their customer service.

Love the Little Hippo!! We don't even have a baby! But we have two birds and need to know the temp and humidity in the room, so we got ourselves the Little Hippo. And we love everything about it - the accuracy, the design, the changing colors, and ability to convert from F to C. Thanks Little Hippo!!

I gave this three stars because it doesn’t read very accurate. We tried moving it to different areas of the room to see if it helped but it still seemed to struggle to get an accurate reading no matter where we put it. I do like that it already came programmed with the correct temps and corresponding colors for baby.

It’s a little smaller than I was hoping for but it’s super cute. I don’t think it’s entirely accurate but I do think it’s within a couple degrees so not a big deal to me.

So far it’s been good! We’ve been using it for a couple days now.. in our own room to test it out, so far is accurate when we sleep with the heater on and starts to feel too hot or stuffy it does turn red, or blue when it feels cold. You are not able to read the numbers from the baby monitor but you can see the light color even with monitor being black/ white for nighttime mode.. the color lights are to bright for my liking but it doesn’t seem to bother my kid so it works for us, Or you can also turn off the color light and just read the numbers.

I love this nursery thermometer! It’s adorable, the perfect size, and is super easy to use (just plug it in). I had been worried that my room was too cold for my son to sleep comfortably and this little hippo put my mind at ease. The golden glow lets me known that my son is in the perfect temperature for a comfortable night of sleep (well 3 hour increments because let’s face it babies don’t sleep much longer than that).

I like that I can adjust the Amber range up to 77 F. We live in Los Angeles, so it is always warm. The only draw back is that if it gets unplugged, you have reset the settings if you want them customized. You can turn the color light off too.

This is a great product. Works perfectly. The temperature settings for the perfect which is when it is orange is a little cold for my baby so I still need to adjust that but I’m glad it has the option to adjust it. The humidity reading is great as well. Light is dim enough in the dark that it doesn’t bother my baby.

I love this thing! I live in an older house and my sons room tends to stay on the colder side. I never knew what temp it was in there so I ordered this. I love this bc it changes colors based on temperature, so I don’t necessarily have to walk all the way in the room. I can see from a glance if in the color range it should be then we’re good! Definitely would recommend. I’m obsessed with this thing

My husband and I are both hot sleepers and pre-baby we kept our house at like 65 degrees at night. We have no concept of “comfortable” sleeping temperature… so having a newborn I had the hardest time telling if it was too hot or too cold in our room. Our room also doesn’t heat and cool like the rest of the house. This has definitely helped my new mom anxiety about the room temp for baby! I also love the colored light so that I can tell it’s okay from across the room. Definitely a good buy!

The thermostat in our house is inconsistent so we always debate what we think the actual temperature was in the baby room. This product was so simple to use and gave me peace of mind. The color indicater is my favorite part about this product, one glance in the middle of the night and I could quickly see if the temperature was in a good range. Really small and simple design makes it easy to set anywhere.

Love it. I think a must buy.The light that glows serves as a night light.I like how I don’t have to guess in the temp and humidity in the room. Definitely would recommend this to other mom. Especially new momsOne thing I would add or change. I wish the screen with the temp the humor is not the the top but in front where you can easily see. Other that that’s it’s a win for me.

Let's face it, newborn parents have the IQ of Zombie, with the angst of a prey animal (newborn! SIDS! Etc), so anything that makes it's easy for us to see, read, and understand makes a huge difference. This little contraption makes it super easy for us to see through the night if the room temp is just right for our newborn, which if at best, helps us prevent SIDs, and at worst gives me peace of mind.

Easy to use and works well, but you can’t change the number settings individually. There is a preset comfort range that you can move but you can’t make the comfort range longer or shorter. Also, the blue light is way too bright!!! Overall it gets the job done but has downfalls for sure!

This is truly a plug and play item. The setup was easy and I love how quickly you can tell if the temperature in the room is in range. We are getting ready for our first baby and this has been helpful to monitor the temperature in our room and the babies room. In fact, we decided to buy a second one to place in the other room since we liked our first one so much.

Our baby sleeps in our bedroom with us, having Kelvin in the room has helped us better regulate the temperature to fit her needs, or to know what layers she needs. I have Kelvin on my nightstand so I can easily check it throughout the night. I turned off the light since it is near my face. It’s not too bright at all. Knowing the humidity in the room is a big plus as well. We know whether we need to run the humidifier or not.
