These are great! They fit securely over both outlets and are not easy to pull out as most nightlights would be because there's nothing much to grab and pull. They provide a nice soft glow. There is a small toggle switch on the back if you want them to stay on all the time, but otherwise the eye is sensitive enough that it will turn off in areas that are still dim during the day. While these are a great child safety solution, they also a have such a low profile that they would be great anywhere you want a removable night light that doesn't get in the way.

Super neat idea & I’m really impressed with these safety plug covers! I love that they have an auto and manual turn on/off function for the night light feature. It’s great.The light is adequately illuminating without being super bright so as to keep child awake at night. To give context, I would estimate nobody could read in a room with only this night light, but it would help someone navigate to a bathroom safely in the night.It’s a cool color white, rather than amber; I might prefer amber but I think it may not provide as much illumination that way - not sure of their rationale.Be aware that to use this night light safety plug cover, both plugs will be covered, is it take the whole outlet out of commission.

They are sleek and would be very difficult for a small child to take off the outlet. They also function as a night light. As a night light it is a very low light.

Would give a 4.5 if I could because of the manual mode feature being difficult to turn on.The nightlight overall is extremely simple to use. It snaps right into the outlet and feels very secure. Our infant/toddler will not be able to pull it out. I initially ordered this because I was roaming around the crib trying to find his pacifier in the dark. Easy to see on the monitor, but when you actually walk into the dark nursery it's like mission impossible to try to stealthily soothe him without startling him too much. Additionally, we have no outlets in our hallway, so it is nice leaving the bathroom door open and having it on at night.The automatic mode works great. it stays on in the dark and shuts off when there’s light. The manual mode, though, is kind of annoying. You have to press really hard on the center and wait for the light to fade on slowly. Honestly, we probably won’t use that setting much.I do wish there was a motion-sensor option, so the light only comes on when you walk by. My husband mentioned he'd be more likely to buy more if it had that feature, since he doesn’t like the light being on all night.Still, it’s an awesome little product that adds safety and comfort to the nursery. Price point is okay.

I like how these GlowGuard Night Light & Double Outlet Protectors serve a double duty. They completely cover a wall outlet to protect it and make it baby/childproof. You just plug it into the wall, and it fits very securely and covers both outlets. Then, it also works as a night light for dark spaces. It’s a pretty subtle light, but provides a nice glow. I especially like the Auto setting which is triggered by motion. You can also set it on Manual and press the large button on the front to turn it on or off. I like that they come in a a pack of two. Cool product that would make a great baby shower gift.

This works exactly as intended. I got this to block an outlet from a toddler but I didn't want to use a blank faceplate. This does the job perfectly and provides a nice soft glow at night

If you have small children around, this is a perfect addition for your toddler proofing setup. Not only does it safely and easily cover the full outlet, but it provides a gentle glow that can be set to dawn/dusk light sensor or manual on/off with a two-second press on the front plate. It’s very easy to install and takes a little wiggling to remove—likely extremely difficult or impossible for a small child but quite manageable with larger adult hands.

While this GlowGuard outlet protector is well-made and effective for childproofing, it falls short on its night light functionality. The lumens are too low to provide meaningful illumination, and the light sensor isn't very responsive. As a basic outlet cover, it does the job and feels sturdy, but if you're looking for a dual-purpose product, there are more affordable options with better lighting performance. A decent choice if you’re prioritizing safety over glow.

These night lights function just like any other dusk to dawn night light. There are some differences though. It's not too bright like others which is great. The other styles are too bright for night use. These are just right for my needs.The other difference is that it's not easy to get a grip to pull out of the socket. You have to pry it out, so this is a nice feature to prevent little ones from trying to pull them out and accidentally touching a prong.

This review is for GlowGuard Night Light & Double Outlet Protector. These outlet covers work great to protect from things getting accidentally stuck in your outlets. They are easy to install, just slide in and you are done.They only fit standard double outlets and will not fit GFCI outlets, so they cannot be used in my bathroom. You can see in the first image the plugs will not fit into the sockets for a GFCI outlet. I used them in the kitchen and living room and the glow is subtle enough to not be jarring.They cost $25 for two covers so I do not feel like they are a good value for the money. This is because they make the outlets unusable while they are plugged in since the item covers both sets of holes. I think a basic nightlight would serve the same purpose.

I love these! I am so happy I ordered them. I needed a nightlight that would work in my bathrooms as we are starting potty training and my son is scared of the dark as most kids are. They also double as covers for plugs. I love a product that has more than one use. The baby or child won’t be able to remove these on their own.

I was really impressed with the quality of these night lights! These are perfect for us to use with our toddler to keep the outlets baby safe. They are not easy for little fingers to remove from outlets. On the flip side, they are a little trickier even for adults to remove, but not too bad that it is a nuisance. Beyond the overall sleek design of these, I really loved that these night lights are not too bright. They are actually very mild and we plan to use one in our toddlers room. They are very dim so they should not disrupt their sleep, but illuminate just enough to give them some comfort. I also really liked that this comes with two setting options. Auto will illuminate when it senses it is dark. Manual you can tap the front button to turn on or off.

These nightlights double as outlet protectors which is perfect because with a little crawler around you need to be careful. I love these and will be getting more for sure. They have a brightness sensor so they only turn on when it's dark. The design is good, reasonable size not sticking out too much, the light is around 2700K color temp so warm white light. Since it doubles as an outlet protector it's not very easy to take out, you need to pry with your nails. The only negative thing about them is the price, I don't think fifteen to sixteen dollars is a reasonable price.

Clever concept and good execution. Our little one will not stay away from outlets, but is also afraid of the dark. These were the perfect solution as they cover the entire outlet securely and can't be yanked out like a normal night light. The light sensor works great, as well.On the downside, the manual mode is very tough to operate, requiring a hard press until the light fades on or off. We also would have appreciated some control of the brightness. The default britness is ok, somewhere between what you'd want at bedtime vs the middle of the night. But these two things aside, this is a great product and we're happy with it.

I can see why it is advertised as being childproof, even I had a hard time getting it out of the socket.I have this in our hallway and it’s not too bright at all! It’s a very soft light just as advertised, but it’s not tooooo soft. It illuminates just the right amount of light! It’s perfect for what we need it for!I really enjoyed not having to do much, but pop it open and pop it in 😊 super quick and easy!You have two options of how you would like the light to be initiated. Automatic Or Manual. If you choose automatic, the light comes on when it’s dark and turns off when the sensor detects light.Remember when I mentioned having a hard time getting it out (which I will not be doing often, I’ll set it one and done 😅)? Since the switch is on the back, in order to test out both options, i had to unplug it to get to those components. The Manual option consist of long touching the "button" in the middle. It’s not really a "button" that you press and it goes inward, you touch and hold 😊. They were super smart on how they made this! Wow! The fact that you have to long press and hold it for about 3 sec for it to turn on and off is brilliant! 💡What child wants or knows to do that? lol. Unless they see you do it 👀.

I ordered the GlowGuard Night Light & Double Outlet Protector 2 pack. While these products are more expensive ($24 at time of review) than a typical nightlight or outlet cover, they're such an ingenious device.The sleek and simple nightlight completely covers both outlets and is difficult enough to remove that my child can not. It's not so difficult to remove that I have to pry it off with a screwdriver (something I've had to do with other outlet covers.) If you have a real Houdini kiddo, they may be able to pry these off, but for the standard goldfish-attension spanned toddler, I feel this will be good.Given how simple and sleek these are, I've actually put one in my powder room - we don't use the plug but have wanted a simple nightlight.I appreciate that they have both manual and auto options. I switched it to auto so that it will illuminate when it gets dark.Overall this is a very clever product that I plan to repurchase as gifts for friends with new kiddos.

This works excellent. The back is a little odd but it fits a 2 socket. It has option for the light to always be on or automatic. I did automatic and the sensor had to be really covered/dark for it to light up, so it's not super sensitive, a plus in my book. The look is very sophisticated. It can fit in with any decor and can't be pulled out easily. It's a good value because you get two. They just stick in and are not sticky. They don't open, but need to be pulled out and because they fit tight baby isn't able to remove.
