Can KELVIN guarantee the safety of my child?
No. KELVIN is a helpful tool that can quickly inform you of the temperature and humidity of your child's room but is not meant to be a substitute for active monitoring. Consult your child's physician to determine the proper temperature and humidity conditions for your child's room, in addition to determining how to create a safer sleeping environment for your child.
I lost my instruction manual. Where can I download it?
You can download KELVIN's instruction manual here in English, French, Italian, Spanish and German.
What age is KELVIN recommended for?
KELVIN can be used in an infant's room to help monitor the temperature and humidity levels of the room. As your child grows, KELVIN serves as an adorable night light and sleep buddy!
What comes in the box?
Each box comes with a KELVIN unit, a 4 feet cable, an A/C wall adapter and an instruction manual. Please contact us at support@littlehippo.com if you are missing any of those items.
Will the wall adapter work in my country?
KELVIN comes with a dual voltage/universal wall adapter (100-240 V) so you do not need a converter. Because KELVIN comes with a type A adapter, if you are outside of North and Central America and Japan, you will require an adapter to fit your socket. We recommend a certificated USB adapter with an output of 5 V / 1 A.
How long does KELVIN need to be plugged in before it reads accurately?
We recommend plugging KELVIN in for at least 20 minutes so that it can properly calibrate.
What can I do to improve the accuracy of KELVIN's readings?
What is KELVIN's operating range?
KELVIN's operating temperature range is 32-104° F (0-40° C) with an accuracy of +/- 2° F (+/-1° C).
KELVIN's operating humidity range is 20-90% with an accuracy of +/-5%.
