We’ve been using this Ready to Rise clock for nearly 4 years now, and it’s been a great addition to our kids’ bedtime routine. I really appreciate the simplicity—no need for Bluetooth, apps, or connecting it to my phone. It’s easy to set sleep and wake schedules, and it’s been very reliable over time.The digital clock is also a nice feature, especially now that my kids are learning to tell time. It gives them a clear visual cue for when it’s okay to get out of bed, which has helped with early morning wake-ups.The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the price point, which I think is a bit high for what it is. That said, the durability and ease of use have made it worth it for us in the long run.Highly recommend for parents looking for a straightforward, no-fuss sleep training clock!

We love that it has the sleep to wake lights. If you have a kid who is just not napping but needs to still rest during the day, the nap timer is perfect! It was very easy to use, and it has a lock where you can lock it so your kids don't play with it.

Very well made and face is so cute and friendly. Great for shaping sleep schedule. Had an issue and used website to troubleshoot. Reached out to Little Hippo by email as the Little Mella is still under warranty until May. They emailed me back with further troubleshooting to determine if it was the clock, cable or power block. Turned out to be the power block and they replaced it right away. We are up and running. Excellent support and customer service

I think that I love this clock more than my child that I bought this for! It changes to all kinds of colors, has a white noise sound to fall asleep to, 3 different alarms to choose from and you can even switch it to military time! I didn't even need a manual to figure it out!

I bought this clock in 2019 from Amazon and it’s still going strong. I bought it for my now 9-year-old daughter back then to help her with her bedtime routine and now it has been passed down to my 2.5 year-old to help her with her bedtime routine. I don’t use the light because I feel it is too bright but I do like the white noise to help lull my daughter to sleep and it’s easy to set up. I would recommend this clock to help your kids go to sleep and know when to stay asleep.

I have wanted to get a clock like this for some time but wondered if the cost was worth it. We were on week 6 of waking up in the middle of the night and I was exhausted. I did a bunch of googling and read many reviews before deciding on this one. It arrived the next day. We are a week and a half into having this alarm clock and it is working like a charm. I think my son was waking up and not knowing what time it was so having the yellow indicator for play time or green for wake up time has been huge. I thought it might take a few days but day 1, he slept through the night. (He is 4.) Have already recommended to another friend that has a toddler not sleeping through the night. It’s also just super cute. I included a video where it blinks at each minute (during awake time). It’s just kid friendly and fun!

So let me start by saying that I like this product. It’s a little funky to use and I wish the nightlight stayed red all night so my 3 year old son understood he needs to stay in bed on red and green means go. However, I’ve used it and like it. The alarm is kinda soft, but loud and it won’t wake up your child like a shock to the system - but will wake them with the volume.Here is my issue.The battery that comes with this clock was already drained. It was flashing low battery immediately and I thought it just needed charging. Apparently the wire wasn’t a charger and so not it doesn’t work without the label and I’ll need to go buy a new $9 watch battery. When reading the instructions, I realized there should be a tab that you pull to release the battery. There was no tab with the clock so I assumed it was already pulled. I tried to open the area the battery was installed and noticed there are some marks where the screw is. No screw comes with the product and that is documented on the packaging instructions - however I suspect someone jammed an alternative / oversized tool to uncover the batter previously as the back has scratches.Again, I like this clock and my 3 year old son likes it. The light is bright, the sound is great (although the white noise sound is a little funky). I think considering the price I paid, for it to come with a dead battery installed, the tab pulled and the back cover scratched, this wasn’t great. I feel like this was a used product that was returned and resold.

I wish we’d gotten this sooner. We got it for our 5 year to help him feel responsible for getting himself ready for bed and school. Easy to use!

My 3 year old was having some sleep regression and we didn’t want him getting up whenever and sound whatever. So we got this alarm sleep trainer. It’s absolutely fantastic. You can clearly tell the company that made this put a ton of thought into its design and function and then executed the product perfectly.Easy to set up. Super functional. High quality. Cute. Tons of features. Son loves it.It’s very easy to setup. I was able to get the time set, sleep times set, and custom options I wanted set in a matter of a few minutes. Very easy. Just follow the clear directions that come with it the first time and you’ll remember how to do it going forward.Make sure you pull the clear battery protector out. I didn’t the first night and accidentally unplugged it and had to reprogram it. Not a big deal but just make sure you pull the clear tab out.I love the functionality and custom options. You can set the times you want, choose different light colors and when/if they turn on and when. You can set alarms or leave them off. It’s just a wonderful product that covers all your needs.Her name is Mella and from night 1 my son loves her and follows her “glow color” to know when it’s bed time, play time, and awake time.HIGHLY recommend this product. It’s worth every cent.

Got this for my sons nursery. I like this sound machine better than hatch because it displays the time and I can see it well without it being too bright for the nursery. I used it to time his feedings and his naps. It sits whereMy son can get to it and he knocks it off often. The item seems durable and able toTake his abuse. Small and easy to pack on trips.

My 3 year old is in love with this sleep buddy. He loves the blue light the most it's great to help him get ready for bed and not get up as often through the night. The alarm is not to loud and you can pick the sound choice. My son was clear that the Litt guy be named Hippo

We've been using this product for over a year now, and are totally in love!Bought the Mella clock originally when we moved my daughter from her crib to a toddler bed after baby #2 came along. She now stays in her bed until her "Mella turns green," which is such a lifesaver for me.I appreciate that the bedtime and wake time always stay the same, while the nap timer is adjustable based on what time she goes down for a nap. We had previously tried a different version of a wake up clock that wasn't nearly as programmable (we returned it).Fast forward to this year, we had a minor issue with Mella not "waking up" properly. I reached out to customer service via email, and they emailed me back immediately and corrected the issue! (I had accidently toggled off the sleep/wake timer).Great company, and great product! Buy this. You won't regret it! =D

This wake clock worked great for my 3 year old. She was sneaking out of bed early in the morning to be with mommy. I set the wake time at around 6 and slowly pushed it back to 6:20. She has been doing really well so far and it’s been 2 weeks using it. I am currently watching her sleep and it’s 6:25 am. It’s a win in my books!

Got this for my 7 year old to start learning time management. Face is big and easy to read and it has a lock button so once you set everything, the kid can push all the buttons and it won't change anything!

I bought this for the sleep training light feature only. I was hoping arctic blue would be like Tiffany blue, but it wasn't. I went with tropical teal. Definitely read the little manual to figure out settings.

This clock changed our lives for the better. Reset greenlight tomorrow at 7 AM and our children understood they could not get out of the bed previously they would come knock at our door at 5:30 in the morning.Unfortunately the kids also were intrigued by the clock and learn how to unlock it and set the alarm at random times of the night.In the end the clock broke because the connection between the power source and the plug on the back was not able to withstand usage over time.

I just wanted to share an information that not everybody knows about this clock (is not in the instructions manual eather) and was very important for me. Many people think that you can not adjust the brightness of the green “wake up time light”, but it is possible!!! To do so, you have to dim the night light feature. Even if you don’t turn on the night light, the green wake up time light will be set on 1 of the 3 levels of brightness that you choose. At first the green light was waking up my daughter (was too intense) but after regulate the intensity of the light it went much better!!Photos from before and after the setting.Great costumers supports, they are very willing to answer your questions!
