Well crafted and functional

This cute, colorful clock is helpful in teaching time. Everything is neatly labeled and color coded. It takes one AA battery. There is a place on the back to hang this clock.

Looks as advertised. Beautifully well made. Plastic feels thicker and more durable than it’s competitors. Clock movement is truly silent which is fantastic if you don’t like the ticking sound like Captain Hook. The colors are engaging without being tacky/harsh and neutral enough to blend in with various room color schemes. The imitation wood grain frame color is subtle like the Ikea birch color but with a slightly warmer tone. Just wish it was at least 12inches or even 15 inches wide with bigger numbers so that it’s easier to read for kiddos and adults with vision issues. Hopefully they’ll consider making bigger versions in the future which I’d buy in a heartbeat. Price at $13 is very competitive compared to the $26 popular teaching clock that’s available on Amazon. If you want something other than the tacky primary colors on the usual teaching clocks, give this one a try.

my kiddo has wanted a clock for so long and this one is PERFECT. it has labels for every part of the clock, soft colors, and it took only one battery. excellent analog clock for kiddos learning to tell time.

I am so pleased with this little Hippo clock. Not only is it pleasantly colorful to look at, and has a silent movement (a must at our house), the seconds/minutes are also individually numbered, instead of just being marked as dashes. We have another colorful analog “kids clock,” that do not have these marked, and I think the readability of this little hippo clock will be much more instrumental in helping her to tell the time. It is a great size, and easy to read on the wall. All in all, a superb value for this price range.

This is the second learning clock i got for our family. the first one looked very similar but the color zone were confusing. This clock has the colors in the right places to designate an hour of time. Each color represents 60 minutes so the kids can easily understand where the hour hand is pointing throughout the whole hour. the minutes are written from 0 - 59 with every 5 minutes in a slightly larger type, super helpful.the mechanism holds time well.the only change i would like is greater contrast in the colors. the gradient rainbow colors are very pleasing, but more contrast would help separate the numbers more clearly

This is an awesome clock to use for those learning to tell time. An awesome tool in a room that kids will be often. If you live in a family that goes off of military time, this also has those numbers tucked in there. I’m so pleased with this clock and the way that it helps my kids learn analog clocks in an easier way. And it is listed at a great price!

This is a great learning clock. The hands are color-coded as well as labeled making it easier to teach kids to tell time. The colors on the numbers make it helpful when you are pointing out to kids where the hands are. The Quarter to, and half past wording is helpful. Unexpectedly, our favorite feature so far has been the military hours on the clock. With people working schedules based on military time, it's easy for everyone in the family to connect 1500 with 3pm.

My kids love this clock. It makes it easier for them to determine the hour since the hour hand is in the color of its hour. When it changes to the next color, it's the next hour. I love that it is silent. I've never had a silent analog clock before. I like the size. It's not huge, but big enough to see from across the room. Banana for scale.

First, I can confirm that this clock is completely silent; you can't even hear whirring as the second hand goes around the face. Second, it keeps pretty good time (which is essential for a clock...). I'm not sure how the battery life is yet, but I'll update my review later if it turns out to be worse than "normal" analog clocks.This clock is going in my wife's classroom; she teaches fourth grade. This clock will definitely help her students learn how to tell time but most importantly, it matches the design and other decorations in her classroom ;-)

We have a 6 year old and 4 year old that are learning about time. They like to come down as soon as they wake up (6am) and wake us up midsleep by starting a conversation at full volume at our still sleeping forms. We decided to get this clock to help reinforce a morning routine of staying in their rooms until 8am. I like the color coordination to help them understand, "when the pink arrow is past the number 8 you can come down". They have definately shown improvement and more interest in knowing the time more regularly. It helps them be more aware of routine needs and reinforcement such as why they need to go to bed at a certain time.

It’s perfect except I wish the second hand ticked by the second. Not make a sound but just move in a tick motion so my son can found the seconds. Quality matches the price. Not amazing quality but good.

Very cute clock

Love the color transitions with the numbers to help kids recognize the time frames more easily. I actually bought this for my digital age daughter who needs a little polishing up on her speed of telling time via normal clocks. With this clock she doesn’t have to stare at the clock for five minutes to figure out the time. She can even help tech her brother how to read the clock when he is old enough. You can also learn to give military time from this clock as well.

I love this clock. I ordered it for my sewing room because the colors reminded me of a color wheel and fabric. I just love it.

It’s cute and so functional! It’s been helpful in helping my child understand how to tell time, it’s been a struggle but this clock is helping him progress!

My kids were super excited when I placed the TimeTots clock on the wall. I love the color coordination with the numbers. My kid struggles with knowing the hour when it’s close to the next hour. I’m hoping this helps

Certainly worth the price point for this. The bright colors capture student attention. It’s light and easy to wall hang. Remains to be seen how well the timing mechanism keeps throughout the school year - will update if it drifts enough to be an issue - but I don’t anticipate that in short sample period.

This clock is great for learning. I put it on the wall for my 5 year olds and they love looking at the colors and reading the special notations. I love the colors and the natural wood frame - it doesn't look super out of place amongst my decor. Great find.

I got this for my kids because I like to have some analog clocks in the house and we didn't have one in the room that has perhaps the most critical timing - the breakfast room.I liked it because it was colorful, it turned out that the kids liked that a lot too. It even got a 'wow' when I unboxed it. The pale wood colored border, rather than a harsh black or white border I think adds to the friendly look of it.It takes a single AA battery and was easy to set, just a simple dial to twist. No other controls. So far it keeps the time well.It's lightweight and easy to hang. I've got no complaints. For the price it seems like a good value.

Great Wall clock for kids to help them solidify reading an analog clock. Very good quality, doesn’t feel cheap at all. My boys are excited that they’re able to tell the time on their own and they love the bright, colorful design as well.
